Wilcoxson Brooklyn Ceramics' series of bud vases and cups have a handcrafted aesthetic unlike any other. The perfect infusion of color for kitchenware, we love using Wilcoxson's ceramics for simple, wild arrangements.
The two-toned glasses are made according to the tradition of Mingei Japanese pottery, a folk-art movement that honors the art of everyday objects. Yanagi Sōetsu, the visionary behind the movement, believed that such items were beyond terms like "pretty" and "ugly" and instead exist in a kind of peaceful, independent beauty all their own. In keeping with the humble origins it takes as inspiration, the cups are dishwasher and oven safe-- the perfect balance of style and functionality.
